Julien Fournié, President and Artistic Director, is a graduate of the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.

After working with the most talented designers of previous generations (Jean-Paul Gaultier, John Galliano at Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen at Givenchy, Claude Montana…), he was selected, at the age of 28, to take over from the founder of Torrente Haute Couture as Artistic Director.  He went on to discover the popularity and taste for high and ultra-luxury in Asia while working in the region.

He created his fashion house in 2009.

With his twenty collections, Julien Fournié has created a recognizable and well known style.
Since 2009 and without fault, Maison Julien Fournié has been presenting its collections in Paris twice a year.
As of 2011, Julien Fournié became a regular guest in the official Haute Couture calendar in Paris.
In January 2017, following the sponsorship of the Chambre Syndicale, the French Ministry of Industry granted Julien Fournié the Haute Couture label.
The Julien Fournié Fashion House thus joined an exclusive club that includes only fifteen names in the world of ultra-luxury.

Environmental responsibility

Maison Julien Fournié is particularly attentive to ensuring that its development is carried out in an environmentally friendly manner.

Maison Julien Fournié would like to minimize the environmental impact of its production.  Over the last seasons, it has established a tractability program of the materials (fabrics, leather, embroidery…) used in order to guarantee the origin and the conditions of production.

The house favours local suppliers as well as natural and biodegradable materials to limit its carbon footprint.
